Who these terms cover
These terms apply to online orders placed through retmay.com. Account customers operating under a separate written agreement with Retmay are governed by that agreement; these terms cover anything the written agreement does not specifically address.
Order acceptance
Submitting an order through Stripe Checkout is an offer to buy. Retmay's confirmation email or shipment of the items is the acceptance. Retmay may refuse or cancel an order at its discretion (for example, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or items that turn out to be unavailable). If an order is canceled before shipment, the charged amount is refunded in full.
Pricing
Prices shown online are the published online price for that item at the time of the order. They are subject to change without notice. Retmay tries to keep pricing accurate but is not responsible for typographical or system errors; if a clear pricing error is identified, Retmay will contact the buyer before shipment.
Payment
Online orders are paid by card through Stripe Checkout. Card details are entered directly on Stripe's hosted page and are never stored on Retmay's servers. Existing-account customers paying invoices on terms use the Pay Center; that flow is governed by their account agreement.
Taxes
A 6% sales tax is added to the merchandise subtotal on every online order and shown as a separate line item on the Stripe payment page. The buyer is responsible for any use, excise, or other taxes that apply to their use of the items at the destination.
Tax-exempt business customers (resale, manufacturing, government, non-profit, etc.) can check the "I am a tax-exempt business customer" box at checkout and optionally include their certificate or resale number. Selecting that option does not place a paid order — Retmay does not charge the card and does not create a Stripe session. The cart and contact details are sent to Retmay sales for review. Retmay verifies the certificate, sets up or updates the customer account, and follows up directly to complete the order. Self-selecting the box does not by itself remove sales tax.
Shipping
Online orders ship UPS within the United States from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. A $10 handling fee is included in the shipping charge. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer when Retmay tenders the shipment to UPS. See the shipping policy for details.
Order quantities, backorders, and quote items
If you order more than the quantity Retmay has on hand, the line is accepted, flagged, and shipped as a backorder. Items without a published online price route to the request a quote workflow. Either way, Retmay will follow up before charging or shipping anything that would differ materially from your order.
Returns
Returns are accepted under the returns and refunds policy. A 30% restocking fee applies to returned clearance items. Custom kits, custom-cut, special-order, and obsolete items are not returnable.
Warranty
Retmay passes through any manufacturer warranty that applies to a given item. Beyond that, items are sold "as is" and Retmay disclaims, to the maximum extent allowed by law, any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limits of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Retmay's total liability for any claim related to an online order is limited to the amount the buyer paid for the items at issue. Retmay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or downtime, even if Retmay has been advised of the possibility.
Force majeure
Retmay is not responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, including supplier shortages, carrier delays, severe weather, or labor disruptions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflicts-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Updates
Retmay may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
