Retmay Distributors operates retmay.com to support B2B fastener supply, custom kitting, vendor managed inventory, and online hardware orders for businesses in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware. This page describes the information Retmay receives when you browse the site, send a quote request, subscribe to blog updates, or place an order.
Information Retmay receives
- Quote requests and contact forms. Name, company, email, phone, the parts and quantities you list, any notes, and any files you choose to attach.
- Online orders. Shipping and contact details, the cart contents, and any notes you add at checkout.
- Blog subscriptions. Email address, optional name, and the consent confirmation.
- Web analytics. Standard request data (page URL, referrer, user agent, approximate location) collected by Google Analytics. IP addresses sent to Retmay's own servers are stored only as a salted hash for spam prevention.
- Payment. Card details are entered directly on Stripe's hosted checkout page and never reach Retmay's servers. Retmay receives a Stripe session id, the amount, the buyer's name and shipping address, and a payment status.
How Retmay uses the information
- To prepare quotes, fulfil orders, arrange shipping, and follow up about availability or backorders.
- To send blog updates only to people who opt in, and only until they unsubscribe.
- To keep accurate sales, accounting, and shipping records for tax and audit purposes.
- To detect and block obvious spam or abuse of the website forms.
Service providers
Retmay uses a small number of service providers to run the site and process orders:
- Stripe — payment processing for online orders.
- UPS — shipping rates, labels, and delivery.
- Zoho — email and the blog newsletter (Zoho Campaigns).
- Hyfin — the Pay Center used by existing account customers to pay invoices.
- Google — site analytics.
- Retmay's web host (cPanel) for site files and order records.
Each provider only receives the data needed for the task above and is bound by their own terms. Retmay does not sell or rent customer information.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage entries to remember your color theme, your shopping cart contents, and to support standard analytics. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
Data retention
Retmay keeps quote requests, order records, and related correspondence for as long as needed to fulfil the work and to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Blog subscribers can ask to be removed at any time; the unsubscribe link in any campaign email also removes the address from Zoho Campaigns.
Your choices
To request a copy of the information Retmay holds about you, to correct it, or to ask for it to be deleted, contact Retmay using the details below. Retmay will respond within a reasonable period and will work in good faith to resolve any request.
Children
The site is intended for B2B customers. Retmay does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
This page may be updated as Retmay's tools or processes change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
